Welcome to F&C Asset Management plc. We are a multi-specialist asset management group, which includes F&C Management, Thames River Capital and F&C REIT. We are exclusively focused on the business of managing investments. Unlike most asset managers we are both independent and publicly listed. Our shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange (Ticker: FCAM.L) and a constituent of the FTSE SmallCap Index.

We are a forward-looking Group but also one with a rich heritage. We trace our origins to the launch of the first-ever pooled investment fund, the Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust in 1868. It is an investment portfolio we are proud to continue to manage almost a century and a half later. We believe that the key to long term success is an ability to continually adapt and innovate.

Today the Group manages approximately £100 billion of funds across all the major asset classes – equities, fixed income and property – as well as in a number of specialist areas including absoute return funds, sustainable investments, liability driven investments, multi-manager funds and private equity funds. We manage investments for a diverse range of institutional and retail clients who collectively represent the savings of more than 3 million individuals across the globe. We service our clients from an office network spanning eleven countries. As a service provider, we believe our mission is clear: to deliver first quartile performance in everything that our clients expect from us.
